The extended third section of the tread reduces the stress on the tread shoulder and further reduces the noise generated by the lateral tread grooves.
NA-1 tyres have a uniquely asymmetric design. The inner pattern is centred around drainage performance. The larger void ratio improves water drainage on wet roads.
The outer pattern is designed for enhanced manoeuvrability. The large pattern blocks on the shoulder offer improved handling when cornering.
The noise prevention bar along the lateral grooves of outer tread shoulder blocks airflow in the grooves to reduce noise.
The chamfered groove wall design prevents a film of water from forming for a better wet grip.
